Precise framing of the VMD block with an emphasis on the play of light on glass facades in contrast with the urban environment and old industrial elements. The focus is on the grandeur of verticals and the monumentality of modern business centers in the heart of Zagreb.

Through the lens, we observe the interaction of glass, steel, and sky, creating a visual narrative that not only documents but also suggests the dynamics of a workday. Every line of the facade is thoughtfully positioned to guide the viewer's eye toward the pinnacle of the building, creating a sense of power and stability.

Brutalist Heritage

Documenting the iconic Vjesnik building. Geometric rigor and repetitive facade elements captured in dramatic light. This series visually captures the passage of time and the power of Zagreb's architectural history that dominates the landscape.

We approached this project with deep respect for the raw texture of materials. The contrast between dark, decaying window frames and the clear sky creates a melancholic yet extremely powerful atmosphere. The photographs emphasize the brutalist character that gives the building almost sculptural significance in the urban fabric.

Street Integration

Contemporary residential building photographed from the street, putting its communication with the environment in the foreground. Clean, sharp roof lines and warm facade texture are highlighted through careful avoidance of street noise, focusing on the pure aesthetics of the object.

Here, the emphasis was on a subtle play of proportions and materials that blend seamlessly into the existing urban landscape. Warm panel tones are in perfect balance with cool glass surfaces, conveying a sense of residential comfort and modern elegance adapted to human scale.

Night Exposure

A series of high-definition night photographs emphasizing the sophisticated facade lighting installation. Long exposure of traffic creates dynamic light trails that give the building a futuristic look and emphasize the rhythm of the business part of the city.

Light here is not just a byproduct but a primary architectural element. Technically demanding night shoots allowed us to capture the perfect balance between warm interior office lighting and vibrant magenta exterior tones. The result is a powerful visual identity that sets Matrix apart as an epicenter of innovation.
